Here's Diana Vishneva performing the Grand Pas Classique. Too bad she stuffed her fouettes at the beginning of the oas de deux cos she has so much control!
And here is SYLVIE GUILLEM performing the Grand Pas Classique. Personally, I prefer Sylvie. By the way, the video makes her look a lot fatter than she really is. In reality, she is a stick ;)
And finally, here is Diana Vishneva performing a Kitri variation from Don Quixote. Eve, this is the ballet we're watching. Knowing that I have a love for European accents, I love this ballet because it is Spanish. The Spanish have this attitude which I love and I love how they wear red and have flowers on the side of the side of their heads =P

Pictures speak a thousand words... at the ballet (#4)
Natalia Makarova in The Taming of the Shrew or A Midsummer Night's Dream judging by the costume and the pose
hilarious xD
Margaret Fonteyn sits by to watch a class, head poised to one side... thinking
Margaret Fonteyn, always poised, always maintaining a whiff of elegance. Here she poses as Odette from Swan Lake, a role she is most well-known for playing.
The lovebirds of ballet back then. Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn were renowned as partners for ballets for over 3 decades. Their strong partnership brought crowds to the ballet. It was all the rage on the ballet scene back then. It was known that they both loved each other, but let's just say... Rudolf was a homosexual D= I think this is the Waltz of the Flowers scene judging by the costumes and the general position of the dancers. I WISH I HAD THEIR TURNOUT!!!!!!!!! and their costume :)
Diana Vishneva in Raymonda
the Bolshoi Ballet performing Swan Lake. the symmetry from dancer to dancer is somewhat soothing. the lighting makes each dancer appear to be made of ice, their tutus merely layers of frost, their figures simply porcelainJust so you know, this series will never actually end until I can't be bothered to find awesome pics :)

Pictures speak a thousand words... at the ballet (#1 in a series)
R.I.P - 1939 to 2009
Nothing can quite capture the magic of a corps de ballet on stage quite like this - like a dark dark night, with only the rustles of a crow and a million stars to keep you company
the Russian Alexandra Danilova from the 50s in the role of Coppelia in Coppelia (kekeke, i want that bow XD) - this is the scene where Coppelia pretends to be a doll
