Munchkin 1 & Munchkin 2 - courteousy of Eve and me

SO HAPPY!!!!! THE BEST SPORT NEWS TODAY!!!!!

1. Sam Stosur won her 4th round match against the former world No.1 Justine Henin in an epic match! Now, she has to beat SERENA WILLIAM, the current world No.1 to get to the semis and she did that last year so I hope she does it again!! Sam is awesome. Firstly, she's Aussie (kekeke - that's kinda racially based), secondly, she is getting better every month and her current ranking is No. 7 in the world and only last year this time, I think she was about 20 something so that's a BIG improvement, she is really well-rounded unlike other tennis players who are just really good at certain aspects of the game and, lastly, she's awesome because i SAY SO TEEHEE =P jks

2. For bball this weekend, despite what we thought, we are versing Ascham, not Monte and it's going to be a reallly good opportunity for our team to see how much we will have improved considering they thrashed 43-0 in our first game. Just for the record, Monte beat us 62-2. no comment there. =='

Thanks to Eve, I had an awesome and Chinese-based lesson in which we talked in Chinese (unsuccessfully) and were named the 'munchkins' in the corner by Ms Mella! =D <3 We are now unofficially Munchkin 1 (Eve) and 2 (me).

the one amusing monday i've had in a while

Who would ever think that a Monday at school would be so good?
Below is a chronology of the day:
- Chinese: Eve proved that she is obsessed with with word grapes in Chinese (葡萄), - that's it just in case you're wondering. Every two minutes, Eve points something out that's somehow related to grapes ;D 'Oh look! I know that one! It's pu tao, right?' What an awesome Chinese double =D
- Recess: Eve goes on about how Dr Who's or someone's alter ego had the potential to be so much hotter than what he really is i.e - fat, bald, short - Eve's perfect idea of hottie; ate some of Ivy's delish cheese biscuits
- Maths: not so awesome considering it was full of quadratic equations OK HERE WE GO. The quadratic formula IS .... wait for it...... x = -b plus/minus square root of b squared - 4ac ALL over 2a =P
- Assembly - OHMYGOSH- next Wednesday we find out who the new PRINCIPAL IS!!!!! ARGHHH!!! so excited for that!
- Lunch was awesome as. Ok, so normally on a Monday lunch, I have an organ lesson and I hate having co-corricular at lunch cos then I can't just eat and sit and do nothing. BUT it so happens that my organ teacher came onto this gridlocked road and thanks to the person who had a car accident, i had a FREE MONDAY LUNCH!! WOOHOO! I met on the way back from learning of this news and we went to the canteen to get her a ... plastic fork ==' but to make up for that, we went to the school shop and got a crunchie choc thing and shared it and ate the whole block pretty much within the space of a minute with the exception of the square we gave Jane. teehee. chocolate is GOOD for you - that's the endorphins kicking in by the way. So I decided to spend lunch with the awesome group of me, eve, anita, veronica, kath and jane in Room 25 in 'Writer's Club' COUGH COUGH so we had a whole room to ourselves and it happens to be MASSIVE and CLEAN and warm =D i started watching masterchef with eve and she was blogging at the same time but I can't find her blog that she supposedly dedicated to me which I turn returned the favour of dedicating a blog to her. ANYWAY, we watched the crazy bit where Matt Preston DROPS some dude's plate on the floor because it's disgusting and when the plate smashed apart, he says "It's DISGUSTINGLY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!" ARGHHHHHH. That's so crazy and awesome TV stuff!!!! So yea, awesome time that lunch. Anita was, actually I don't know what Anita was doing and I think Kath was watching Pride and Prejudice which makes her a COOL person because Pride and Prejudice is cool, Veronica was just talking and Jane was doing something (like the vagueness?).
I was genuinely sad when the bell went for the end of lunch =(
- Australian History - ARGHHHHh. Ms Mella freaked us out by telling the class and pretty much highlighting the fact that we all did really bad in our test =S so by then, I was pretty freaked out. I did well but the FUNNY part was that me and Eve were conversing to each other (let me repeat, ATTEMPTING to converse) in Chinese; yes, the ancient language of the Ching Chong Changs. We even incorporated the Ching Chong Chang culture into our lesson by wishing one another Ching Chong luck when we got our results - nup, not retards at all =P.
- END OF SCHOOL - I was getting on the train and the doors suddenly CLOSE UP ON ME!!!!!! I literally got stuck in the doors and people had to push the doors open and I was just standing there mortified like anyone would be in THAT situation. PHEW. I got through the doors after much pushing and pulling =P

- end of rant -

what a mega long blog. WOW. I jsut spent 20minutes ranting on about the day of a nobody. and another nobody namely Eve but THAT's another story.... a LOONNNNNNNGGGGG story =P

Winnie the Pooh

I often thought that considering Winnie the Pooh lived in little people's book land, he wouldn't be that intelligent, but really he is. I've learnt more from reading quotes from A.A Milne than maybe I can from a problem. Why is that our yellow bear with the red shirt can be so much smarter. Why is that he seems to know more about life than I do?

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - my favourite =D

“If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”

Winnie the Pooh really is the most ingenious philosopher. I still cuddle up to my Winnie the Pooh bear on sad days but on angry days I punch him, but that's another story...
